Children
Life Skills Education Programme
Our Life Skills Education Programme empowers children from marginalized and challenged communities, including differently abled children, with confidence, communication, creativity, and employability skills. Through a year-long, transformative journey, approximately 1000 children each year are equipped to succeed in education, interviews, and the world of work—breaking cycles of poverty and building independent, dignified futures for themselves and their families.
BMC SCHOOLS - GENDER SENSITIZATION PROGRAMME
Building a Gender-Sensitive Future
At BMC schools, we are actively shaping a gender-sensitive future by imparting concepts of Gender Sensitivity and Equal Opportunity to children aged 6 and above across Maharashtra. Through engaging activities like role play, drama, songs, and artwork, we create an experiential learning environment that reinforces these important ideas.
The program culminates in an informal performance, where students share their learnings with the community. Parents are encouraged to attend these sessions, followed by discussions that highlight the transformative power of embracing gender equality. This initiative focuses on promoting equality, education, employment, and the empowerment of the girl child.
Theatre Integration
We bring children from marginalized and challenged backgrounds onto the same stage as mainstream students—training them together, nurturing them equally, and believing in them fiercely. Backed by ACE Productions’ 40+ years of world-class theatre and communication expertise, we are the only organisation globally that offers NGO children the same elite training, creative exposure, and professional discipline as their mainstream peers. This is not charity—it is diversity, equality and inclusion (D.E.I.) in action, where every child steps into the spotlight with confidence, dignity, and the right to dream without limits.
The Create trophy for artistic excellence
Born from the belief that every child holds a spark of brilliance, this prestigious annual award celebrates the courage, creativity, and boundless potential of children from marginalized and challenged backgrounds. Each year, the award brings these young voices to the stage, where they showcase their talents on a chosen theme, turning creative arts into a transformative force for dignity, inclusion, and social change. It’s more than just a performance; it’s a powerful reminder that every child deserves a platform to shine, and through their art, they become agents of change. We have been privileged to work with numerous NGOs like Salaam Bombay Foundation, Akanksha Foundation, Seva Sadan, Muktangan, Vatsalya, Aseema, Kherwadi Municipal School, Natwar Nagar, My Udaan, Victoria Memorial School, Ganpatrao Kadam MPS, B.J. Home, Elphinstone Municipal School, N.M. Joshi Municipal School, Prabhadevi Municipal School, Sayani Road Municipal School, Love Grove Pumping Municipal School, St. Judes, and Aruna Children’s Shelter in this journey, supporting their children to step into the spotlight and make an impact.
